Tribute Portfolio embraces musical pop-ups

Tribute Portfolio, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, announces a new way for consumers to “Stay Independent” through a partnership with music company Pitchfork.
The partnership will feature three exclusive pop-up events at Tribute Portfolio properties during key music festivals, with programming curated by Pitchfork.
Kicking off during Coachella Music Festival (April 15-17), Pitchfork’s P4K Radio will broadcast live from The Riviera Palm Springs, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, with on-air guests such as Tyler Pope from LCD Soundsystem, Shamir, No Age, Courtney Barnett, DJ Mustard, Deafheaven, Nosaj Thing, Bad Bad Not Good, and Girlpool.
“Since our brand’s inception a year ago, Tribute Portfolio has brought some of the best indie talent to our guests in an effort to capture their desire to ‘stay independent,’” said Dave Marr, global brand leader for Tribute Portfolio.
“Our new partnership with Pitchfork will allow us to continue highlighting artists who truly embody our brand’s indie spirit, as well as provide our Starwood Preferred Guest members access to exclusive festivals and music events across the globe.”
