Hampton by Hilton has honored Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Detroit/Sterling Heights team member Tanya Lewis with the company’s Spirit of Hampton by Hilton Award. This award signifies Lewis as a top performer within the Hampton by Hilton brand with less than one percent of all Hampton by Hilton team members internally receive this award each year. Nominated by her peers because of exemplary loyalty, attitude and service, Lewis, who is a housekeeper at the hotel, continually exceeds expectations of both customers and fellow team members.

Employed at Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit/Sterling Heights since November 2003, Lewis is known for her outstanding guest service. She always strives to go the extra mile by leading by example. As a recipient of the award, she will receive a cash prize, a Spirit of Hampton by Hilton Award plaque and other special recognition during the year.
