Vienna, Austria – 5 March 2017 –
Shortly after the opening of the first 7 Days Premium Hotel in Vienna, Plateno International Europe is ready for the second hotel development in this city: 7 Days Premium Vienna South Gate.
The dynamic expansion of Chinese hotel group, Plateno continues with the second 7 Days Premium Hotel in Vienna, and the company’s fourth in Austria.
“18 months after Plateno entered the European market, we have three operating hotels and five projects under development in Germany, Austria, and Italy,” says Roland Paar, President Plateno Europe, CIS & Middle East. ”This is a milestone moment in the development of the 7 Days Premium brand in Europe. We are making great strides in the region’s dynamic hospitality market, which also becomes more and more attractive for Chinese travelers.”
Ideally located on Triester Straße, 7 Days Premium Vienna South Gate will be the first hotel site for those arriving in Vienna from the South of Austria, Italy, Slovenia and the rest of Southern Europe.
The new hotel will mainly address the needs of business travelers, due to its proximity and direct access to the Business Park Vienna. The hotel is an excellent choice for leisure travelers too, as many hotel rooms will overlook the golf course at City & Country Club Wienerberg. Public transport to Vienna’s center and main Railway Station will be granted via the newly built U5 subway line, with access right into the hotel property.
“With growths over 6% in the number of arrivals and nights spent, Vienna was a natural choice for our new project in Europe,” says Paar. “According to the experts, Chinese travelers start to gain importance in the city, and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to be a part of this development.”
The opening of the new hotel is planned for 2019. 7 Days Premium Vienna South Gate will feature 152 comfortable and ergonomic rooms, located on the top floors of the newly built tower.
As part of its European expansion strategy, next to 7 Days Premium, Plateno Group introduced PAI Hotels – the ideal solution for independent hotels, which need support for upgrades and distribution. All PAI Hotels’ guests will enjoy unique benefits such as personalized welcome, the possibility of booking at the best rates in advance, as well as a dedicated membership platform.
