Hong Kong – 26 September 2017 –
China as an investment and partner nation: The German Althoff Hotel Group is expanding into China using its smart business brand Ameron Hotels. In collaboration with the global operating Plateno Group and its own resort brand Lifestyle Lab, the Ameron Lu’an Hotel in Jinzhai Jade Garden, Anhui province of China, will start next year since the first hotel of the Althoff Hotel Group outside Europe.
The operative implementation of the hotel project is performed from the Plateno Group and its brand lifestyle laboratory. Renowned brands such as H12, Barcélo, Portofino and Maison Albar already operate under the tag. The Ameron Lu’ a Hotel is going to be a contemporary city hotel with 143 planned guest rooms and suites, various restaurants, wellness and spa facilities in addition to an extensive conference and convention area. Anhui Province, an up-and-coming economic centre, is situated close to one of the largest national parks in eastern China, Dabie Mountain. Jinzhai Jade Garden, also known as “The Town of Longevity”, is among those sightseeing stops in China using its Jade Temple, town parks and modern architecture.
Thomas C. Althoff, creator and proprietor of those brands Althoff and Ameron: “The collaboration with an international player such as Plateno Group is the ideal companion for us as a medium-sized business to successfully place our business brand Ameron in the Chinese market in the rapidly growing four-star segment. The combination of Chinese heritage and European civilization is a potential market in China and Europe. We deliver the standards and branding attitudes to China, and we represent our new Ameron as well as the quality promise ‚made-in-Germany‘ as well as the Althoff-Ameron training academy for executives in China.”
Michael Lutz, Director of Operations Germany at Ameron Hotels: “Through our collaboration with all the Plateno Group and Lifestyle Lab, we’re creating an international presence for our still young resort brand in a top level, which is reflected positively in our existing destinations. We are also continuing to expand in Germany and will soon be opening three more resorts next year. One at the business location Frankfurt, the next in Hohenschwangau in the Allgäu, at the foot of Neuschwanstein Castle and the Ameron Hotel Motorworld Munich.
