With more than 400 hotels already open and under development in China, the company recently announced its ambition for 1,000 properties by 2025. Hilton is creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs in China, as it seeks to recruit and train the next generation of hospitality professionals.

The Great Place to Work Institute identifies and acknowledges the world’s best workplaces through an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about company practices and programs. The selection process includes a Trust Index Survey for employees and a Culture Audit Management Questionnaire for senior management. Great Place to Work Institute® then uses its unique methodology to evaluate companies based on five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. The 2017 survey reflects opinions from more than 217,000 employees from 145 transnational organizations in Greater China.

Hilton places its Team Members at the heart of the business. By consistently seeking opportunities to support and invest in their development, Hilton aims to deliver great working environments, rewards and professional career paths as well as ongoing learning and development resources.

For instance, Hilton offers industry-leading benefits and exclusive employee travel discounts. Furthermore, this year the company launched Thrive@Hilton, a new value proposition that creates space for inspiration, creativity and meaningful connections, in turn supporting a positive work-life balance.

Hilton’s best-in-class career opportunities are reflected in rising guest satisfaction. In 2017 alone, Hilton’s superior customer service has received recognition with numerous prizes and awards. Earlier this year the company was ranked No.1 on the 2017 China Customer Satisfaction Index (C-CSI) and No.9 on Forbes’s World’s Top Regarded Companies 2017 list.
